TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 Please notify the Instructor if you are unable to attend the lesson for any reason, giving MINIMUM two days notice (9-5 Mon-Otherwise the lesson (s) will be charged at full rate. We regret that the lesson is charged for whether the reason for cancellation was predictable or not. However, every effort will be made to resell a late-cancelled lesson to another pupil.
2. Very rarely and in the interest of Road Safety, the School reserves the right to withhold the use of the school car for the driving test if, in the opinion of the instructor, a pupil is not able to control the car safety.
3. The instructor retains the right to alter lesson times in the event of a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle, test coverage and any other reason.
4. The school is not responsible for the cancellation of the hours booked, due to the postponement of a driving test by the Department of Transport.
5. A three hour booking may be necessary for the driving test dependent on the actual test time. This time is to allow for the pre-test practice, the test itself and returning from the test centre afterwards.
6. There will be EXTRA CHARGES for early morning booking e BEFORE 8:00am, after 5:30pm and weekends
7. No other person will be in the car during your lesson unless you request it.
8. You will be contacted if the instructor will be late (If the instructor is late the time will be made up at the end of the lesson or when mutually convenient to both parties).
9. In the event of a problem with the car, puncture, breakdown etc any lost lesson time will be made up when mutually convenient to both
10. The instructor will never shout, swear or use demeaning language towards you or anyone else.
11. The instructor will never touch you unless it is to control the car in an emergency.
12. If the instructor needs petrol you will be shown how to refuel the car and have 5 minutes added to your lesson.
13. The instructor will not make or receive phone calls or text
messages during your lesson.
14. The instructor will not smoke during the lesson and the car will not smell smokey or unpleasant.
15. The instructor will not eat during your lesson.
16. The instructor will pay you £30 in cash for every pupil you refer to them, once they have had their first full price lesson. (This is an ongoing offer and does not expire when you pass your test)
17. In cases of bad weather the instructor will put safety first and it will be their decision whether the lesson takes place.
18. Before you take your practical test you will have taken a mock
19. You will have taken and passed a mock test.
20. Assessment of test readiness is in no way a guarantee of a test pass.
21. Should you not pass your practical test first time your instructor will pay for your second test. ( Ts & Cs apply)
22. All lessons booked with the instructor must be paid in full unless a full 48 hours notice of cancellation is given. This cancellation policy will be enforced without exception.
